hi my e-brake light came on the other day so I check the peddle and it was up and I made sure it was up all the way does any one know whats keeping the light on.

Your brake fluid might be low. That will also throw the light on your dash. Check it out, good luck.

and that means break pads soon

x2 on the brake fluid. Check your brake lines and master cylinder to make sure there aren't any leaks.
