3 weeks ago heading up to GF's ran over a piece of wood going about 20mph, going up a mountain, following another car. it was a 12"x12" with a 2"x12" piece connected to it at 90 degree (about 3/8" thick). It was too late to dodge the thing following the car in front of me.
Anyway, since then my ABS/Trac off lights has been coming on sporadically, was finally able to check my wheel bearings/hubs out today.
Turns out the wire on the passenger side front ABS sensor was rubbing up against the half shaft (how long no clue, or if the hitting the wood did it) and rubbed thru the casing and I seen 2 bare strands, taped them up and no more ABS/Trac off lights for the time being. Have to replace the engine/tranny mounts soon, so will check at that time to see how it's holding up and decide what to do from there.
Figure someone else may have the same issue.
