Just wondering if it would be worth the time and money to go oversize or not.

I came across this setup. Any input would help thanks!

I did the 12" front conversion with the WS6 rotors and new caliper brackets, cheap and works great. I know this swap will not work with all the factory wheels though.

you can use your stock calipers, just go buy some 12" rotors for a 04 Impala, and a pair of caliper brackets for the same. Save your big $$$$ for go fast parts.

Do this and get good pads... pads make a big difference.

    Change your brake fluid.

    Get an impala brake booster.

    That should be about it.

If the price isn't an issue the Baer brake set up is sweet, especially the light weight two piece rotors.

Many other faults in our brake systems already...

Lack quality pads, stainless brake lines, crappy brake booster, no rotor cooling, too much nose dive, wet brake fluid etc.

Honestly big brake kits are a WASTE of money. A huge waste unless you plan on doing track racing your GP which I'm pretty sure these cars are not known for. Anyways it's GM just some GM brake parts, stainless lines because all these cars have spongys ass brakes, good pads w/o brake dust ceramics are good I don't know what OE are, and you should be good to go dude, and you will save like at least $750.
There is no replacement for displacement........unless you have a supercharger or turbo

2000 Bright Red GTP Coupe GXP axle back, GMPP sway bar, NGK TR6, 180 stat. (Uninstalled Aeroforce Interceptor, DHP PCM, FWI, Gen V on the way) and still no pulley in sight.
