The brakes won't go on if the rotor is on the wrong way... If you can take a picture of your wheel on you're fine... You can put uni-directional tires on the wrong way and never know. They don't look a whole lot different. Rotors would....That is like saying uni-directional tires only go on one way...as long as it is not on the opposite side.

You can put the left rotor on the right side, just like you can put the left uni-directional tire on the right side.
