The caliper pins are extremely stuck. I eventually ended up wigglin them out of there & theyre caked with dried up grease & antiseize. On the passenger side caliper both pins came out without the rubber bushing attached at the end but on the drivers side both pins had bushings. Is this how its supposed to be or did the previous owner mistakenly put both pins with bushings on the same side? Are those bushings even supposed to come out?

There is supposed to be one pin with a bushing on each side. The pin with the bushing is supposed to be on the top. I am assuming this is for just changing pads and only removing the bottom caliper pin so the caliper can just be turned upwards without taking the top caliper pin out. You need to clean them as best you can and make sure they are lubbed up really good. Also, if you took the brackets off, make sure you put some threadlocker on the bracket bolts. You dont need threadlocker on the caliper pin threaded area, but a dab of antiseize on the threaded area would not hurt. I use a lubricant on the slide pins that is specific for them. I am sure alot people use something they have laying around for that, but I like to get the specific **** for the job.
