I was trying to change the rear brakes in my GTP, but I can't get the caliper to release so that it will fit over the new pads. How do I release the pressure?

do you have a large c clamp? use it to push the piston back far enough to fit the rotor. you do not need to release the pressure this way. let me know how you made out.

i have found that a large c clamp vise grip works best and if it still wont budge, use a big channellock or another c clamp. brake pistons have a tendency to cease or become very hard to move.
