If you have any lowering springs could you please let me know if you like the ride quality comfort wise and performance wise. Also are the lowering specs actually correct. Finally did you use mount spacers to correct axle alignment or shorter dogbones. Thanks for everyone's input!!

SSC 04 springs with Vinnies spacers. I had wobble until I put them in.

My car was a little stiff because compg. Now I am used to whatever it is.
But you probably noticed my complaints about the rear FE3s going out after less than 2 years.
Might be bad batch struts but could be also attributed to lowering.

My car dropped the advertized amount if not a hair more.
Being lower to the ground does make it handle a little better for whatever its worth

SSC springs are sold by canuck motorsports, so those are the same people.

Mine rode just fine on new KYB GR2 shocks.

Shorter dog bones does not correct the axle angle correctly, just buy mount spacers. I bought spacers and had zero problems with vibrations.

So did you have the ssc/cm springs on the gr2s? If so how long have your struts lasted?

My only concern about which springs to buy really comes down to I like the big drop the ssc springs give but I also don't want to have to be buying new struts every 10k miles or something crazy like that

Yes, I had them on new KYB GR2's.

I drove it as my daily driver but covered very little distance as my commute for work was very short, had them on for maybe 2 years I think and under 10k miles. I sold the car 2 years ago.

You should be able to get several years out of those struts or 50-75k miles easy. But if you drive on crap roads or dirt roads all the time, then strut life is always going to be less.

I agree with myself, it's up to them if they want to do what I did.

There are other options for struts but I ain't doing anyones research for them.

Right!! Hahabut, but no man I agree with everything you said to I did decide to get the agx struts either way and in a perfect world I would get the vogtland springs but the cheapest I could find was around 250. If I could find them for a decent price I'd hop on it.

Did you need camber adjusters for the front or rear on the ssc springs

Eibachs on AGX. No spacers in front. Camber bolts in rear. Pogo washers in front too. It rides OK, can be a little harsh at the stiffest AGX setting.

SSC coils bought from Canuck Motorsports, Monroe struts & plates, pogo spacers and home made vinnie spacers. Car rides nice. Stock coils were fatigued when I got the car, so I have no comparison as to old vs new. SSC claims 1.8" drop in the front and 1.6" in the rear. After install, I saw 1.1875" drop in the front and .625" in the rear.

Been installed for almost 5 years now and all is good.

How many miles did you have on your stock springs. I know every car's different but I wish I could figure out how much lower I am with my worn out junk

At one point I was looking at zzp 1 inch drop springs which I would be happy with if it dropped 1 inch from where I am right now but then I figured it would probably just put me right back where I am haha

When I got the car, it had around 200,000 km (125,000 mi), and based on the rear end sag, I assume they were the original springs.

They are local, so it took me 10 minutes to drive there and pick up the springs. LOL

Either way does anyone know how long their shipping takes. It doesn't say anything on their website and I don't want it to be one of those 2 weeks to a month shipping bologna

    They were quick.
    Im impatient.
Ssc and agx is what I would do. Do it one time and save.
My springs are one of my favorite investments.
Dont worry about the spacers unless it wobbles.
Vinnie isnt making the spacers anymore so you might want to have something on the back burner.
Get some 3/8 stock aluminum and the measurements.
I think Bronco Boy has them on his web page thing
