Vinnie isnt making the spacers anymore so you might want to have something on the back burner.
Get some 3/8 stock aluminum and the measurements.
I think Bronco Boy has them on his web page thing
I do. Go here, http://chrisb.users.superford.org/Gr.../Lowering.html, and scroll about half way down.

I used 3/16" steel and need more as she still wobbles a little. One day I will make another set and double them up.

well sumbtch. They are advertised as 3/8" now, pretty sure or well positive they use to be 1/2".

Either way you need a top and bottom solution for a total of 3/4".

Buy 2 sets and cut one in half for the other pieces. Or buy the stock and cut/drill them yourself

Are you saying the 3/8" lift is not enough. The add makes it seem like you just need the one plate for each mount and they sit on top of the mounts.

    Yeah kinda.
ZZP used to be 1, half inch plate for the trans and engine that didn't leave many threads on the nuts. Most people steered away from those and went with Vinnies.

    I would say 3/8 isn't enough.
Chris B said he used 3/16 top /bottom and still gets wobble, now that is 3/8 total, so yeah 3/8 is not enough.

You have the room for 3/8 top and bottom why not be sure?????????????

From what I read in the past, vinnie made the spacers 3/8" thick, and there are upper and lower, so 3/4" total.

I just looked at the ones on ZZP. The images don't show all the spacers, and they say they go on top of the mounts for 3/8" of lift. I guess you would need 2 sets from them. If their images are correct, you still need more pieces.

Here is what I made and installed, as per vinnie's info.....

And here's a good install article on them.... http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...cradle-spacers

Hmm I'll probably just make my own then, save some money and have a better product. I just think it's crazy zap sells **** that doesn't work. I wonder if it would work if you were lowered on springs like vogtland that have a smaller drop

I used just one set of the ZZP spacers with no problems. Still had enough threads on the bolts to get everything on.

you could make your own pretty easily with a drill, a sawzall and some aluminum. getting the right dimensions would be the hardest part, not that it would be hard. one thing to consider, is that if you have a zzp poly trans mount, the trans mount studs are not long enough to accommodate for the spacers and to get the nuts torqued properly. if you do have a zzp poly trans mount and are going to make your own spacers, I would recommend not making them as think.

I'm trying to install anti pogo washers right now. I have a 300ft lb impact but all that happens is that top nut just spins around but it's like the whole thing is spinning because it never comes off..

Vice grip the strut shaft/piston. It's just spinning with the nut.

Use something like a rag inbetween the vise grips and shaft so you don't mess it up.

Hey so you don't need anti pogo washers with after market strut mounts do you? Cause I got a new strut put together and the washer on top of the mount deffinately makes contact with the bottom of the mount.

side note. I swear I had zzp washers and "cradle" washers side by side and the zzp ones looked different. Slightly different

That doesn't have anything to do with my question lol. Aftermarket strut mounts have completely different retainers to begin with

    Different retainers?

Most strut mounts don't come with top washers.
