Purchased a clean 2002 Grand Prix a couple weeks ago, and been getting familiar with it. Looks to be 100% stock except for 18" wheels and this strut tower brace. The brace looks to be adjustable, and the bracket spans all three strut bolts. Same setup in the rear. I must say the car handles nicely for a w-body. Sorry for the terrible picture, but its visible.

When I brought it home it had some major ass sag issues and some clunking, so I replaced all 4 struts with Monroe Sensatracs Quick Struts (I like a cushy ride). Rides great now, still have some clunking I believe is coming from the front sway bar bushings.

    Worn out rear springs:

    After Monroe Quick Strut install:

I seen that Quick Struts aren't preferred because the springs raise ride height.. Honestly I expected the front height increase to be worse. I'm going to give it a week to see if the springs settle before deciding to put the stock front springs back in, or just get it aligned as is. Do the Monroe quick struts settle at all?

Yeah they will settle some but it takes them a lot longer to do so.

Best off just getting the alignment done now and not worry about it for a long long time.
