Actually they are not the brightest. The blue coating on the bulb limits the light a bit. Philips X-Treme Vision are better than the silverstars. They produce more light. If you want something brighter then consider some retros.
Why do you need them to be brighter?
The poor quality of light is from the housings. No bulb can help.
Retros typically start at around $400; best way to go.
My housing are good tho hood chrome on inside not yellow at all I've had then sanded polished and cleared you're telling me there's no replacement bulb that is brighter than stock?? Or that will make a noticeable difference? Where can I buy the retro fits??

The design of the housings is the problem; long and narrow can't produce good light. Going to a "brighter" bulb may help a little, but not worth it IMO.
For retrofits, Classy does good work: http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...08-Retrofits**
And please be careful of blinding other drivers. I start my commute around 5:30am, and I see people who think "brighter is better" but are only causing visibility problems for other drivers.
For high beams, I like the Silverstar Ultras- they throw a lot of light (when there is nobody else around who cares). But for low beams, just make sure you have clean/scratch free front lenses that don't scatter the light all over the place.
