Are there any retro fitters still out there? much less for the Regal crowd? Really would like to do a combo of headlights and fogs (5-6kish), I guess the main snag is finding a proper setup for running HID's that isn't going to blind people... Not having a whole lot of results when searching.

Bite the bullet get a spare headlight from the Junkyard. Heat it open and take some measurement so you'll have a idea what projector can fit. Morimoto Mini H1 and D2S are about the smaller projectors you'll find.

I emailed someone for a "retro" just to compare to mine - see how much I'm making or losing by doing it myself.
Turns out I saved well over $600

Red - Honestly, I don't feel that confident when it comes to this area and partially why I would rather purchase a set. Something about doing it myself and having it be proper, screams fail on my end.

AFAIK there isn't another way to run HID's without blinding people, so while this isn't on my priority list, it would be nice to create the visual aesthetics of having headlight / fog light combo. I do think the stock light output is better on the Regal compared to my '97 GPGT I owned years ago, I think this upgrade would hit both areas I am looking to improve.

I wasn't confident doing a retro myself but now I'm gonna do it for the wife's car so that way I can learn and do it for any vehicle.

I started my own retrofits. Bought all the parts, got one light split open, projector test fitted..... then lost all desire to continue, and time became limited. A year later I broke down and had Classy make me some. Best $500 I ever spent. I have since sold off most of the parts I had bought.

Yup to much chrome. Should of blacked out the reflector since well it's useless now.. And left the shroud chrome is you just had to have chrome.

Welcome to my world. I've done a few for myself and ended up selling them locally now I'm rocking plain Jane halogens until I can find the time to build one last set for myself.

That's too bad Ray, I really like those but it doesn't sound like you have much motivation even after a bribe.
