what are you running? 1500d? yeah most people run mainstreem and dont realize there is so much better for your money you just have to know where to look.

i mean look a jl audio. great products dont get me wrong, but extremely over priced.

well got the tweeters installed in the door panels today. i was gonna run them in the a-pillars but the vc100's mounting tactics would have made that a little hard for me.

i think this will do fine though. here are some pics

blackbonnie - I have a 2005 that needs a new passenger side window switch. I have the $13 switch but haven't a clue how to get at the old switch other than rip the interior door panel off... Do you still have your front passenger side door panel off as seen in one of the pictures above (I'm wondering how to get the window switch out)? If so, would you please check this out for me, snap a picture, and post it or you could e-mail it to me if you wanted and I would then give you my e-mail address?

    Thanks from a Newbie!

On edit: If I need to remove the door panel, is there a trick or special tool required or are there simply metal clips and/or "Xmas tree" plugs holding it in place?

no trick to getting the panel off, just take out 2 bolts (located in your handle, the white part in the lat pic above. i believe they are 10mm)

then after that, just pry the panel off working your way around. lift the door panel up and pull. unplug the wires and your there. real simple to get off once you get the bolts out. dont worry, you wont break anything.

there should be more updates soon......

1998 Grand Prix GTP Stock for now mods to come soon. Alpine 9885 head unit, 2 JLW3V2 10s, 2 Jensen 650x2 amps, and Tsunami wiring all the way around.
Ladies and gentleman take my advice. pull down your pants and slide on the ice
