awhile back i replaced all the interior bulbs with LEDs from diode dynamics. worked great, loved them (werent as bright as i wanted, cant see much, red ones hah) until recently. all of them stay on when the car is on. map/dome, the 2 over the rear doors, and footwells. the only time they shut off is after i turn my car off and lock it. as soon as i start my car they come on and its driving my crazy. originally i only noticed the ones that are over the rear doors (the ones up front dimmed out and only work sometimes, thats my luck) but when i pulled them, the others stayed on. put them back in, they all come on and wont turn off unless i shut the car off and lock it (they dont turn off fast either) any suggestions? someone told me it might be a problem with the garbage aftermarket alarm+key fob. i bought a factory key fob awhile ago with plans to use that but never got around to it. id like to fix this annoyance and also remove the aftermarket alarm and go to a factory one IF the car still has the factory one there (assuming it did come with one, 2001 gtp). any way to tell if it has a factory keyless entry module without going into programming mode (i know ill be frustrated just trying to get that to work) and would it be disabled or removed if an aftermarket one was installed? any help or suggestions on this would be fantastic.

It sounds like there is a loose ground in the wiring for the light circuit. LED's require a ridiculously low amount of current to turn on. A loose g Lund is enought to make them glow.

    Can you use a multimeter?
