Started Friday Jun 27th, drove roughly 60 miles when suddenly blinkers quit working. Got to destination, checked fuses, sure enough 10A signal fuse is blown. Replaced with spare 10A fuse, made it back the ~60 miles home, car sat until Sunday Jun 29th, started driving got ~15 miles and it blew again. Waited until I got home, pulled both headlights and taillights off in search of possible shorting points. Found one spot on front passenger signal bulb wire that rubbed to the wire but could only touch plastic. Discovered when fuse was blown, signals would NOT work, but the HAZARDS WILL work. Replaced the fuse. Girlfriend said I didnt have LEFT (she thought) brake light when they werent working. Brake lights WORKED with good fuse, same goes for both blinkers. After a little playing, it blew again. Checked brakes and the RIGHT brake light didnt work. Checked blinkers, had nothing, yet the HAZARDS DID still work. This kind of blows my mind. It doesnt blow the fuse right away, and I cant figure out what is causing it to blow. Any ideas/thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
