Yup that works. Big fan of the avh series but I would get a 7" instead.

AVH series Pioneers look great and fit perfectly. I have had the 4100 Pioneer in my 2004 GP GT since it came on the market. I have it adjusted to red like the rest of the interior lights and it melds well into the dash.

Same deck I have works great, and matches the 04+ dash colors well.

I'm on my second Pioneer head unit and so far as the radio and amplifier go, it's hard to go wrong with any of their double DIN units, because at that level, they're all pretty much the same. The differences lie in the other features... to what level does it do Bluetooth integration, whether it takes an SD card for music and video, if it's navigation ready, etc.

AppRadio sucks balls though, and it's no better on the latest units than it was when introduced several years ago. Check out this forum. I think they have an AVH board too.

Very nice units for these cars. Matches to look of the factory touchscreen option very closely. My initial thought was that the backlight would fail, it the touchscreen would get washed out in Brit sunlight. The first couple of weeks I left the backlight turned off a lot. Then I calculator that these radios are warranted for about 200,000 miles of use. So until your car has about that many miles of use with these radios on, they should be under Pioneers warranty. I stopped worrying.
