I just bought a 98 GTP, and the radio won't turn on. All the lights work on it, but pressing the power button does nothing. There is nothing on the display at all, so i dont think its locked. i tried putting a CD in, and it took it right in, like normal, but it won't eject. Fuse in the glove box seems to be good. Any ideas?

Pull it out, check the wires is all I can think of.

Got me on this one. If it took a cd, it's has power, but not ejecting it or turning on sounds like a internal problem.

If it was my airbourne CD, I'd be pulling it out of the dash with a crowbar the carefully disassembling it to get my CD back.

All you have to do to remove the stock HU is pull the Dash trim off. It's snapped in. The HU has 3 screws, 2 plugs, and the ant wire. Once you get it out, just take the thing apart to get your cd back. It's not like it works any way so you only have to be careful enough to not mess up your cd.
