Ok guys I have a 2000 Grand Prix in which I just replaced the rear speakers and some how I broke my car key while doing so. I didn't have a spare so I went to GM and got a new key made. I went through the 30 minute procedure programing the chip inside the key and when I went to start the car, the battery was dead, recharged it and ran the car for a day and in that time the security light would flash while driving it. Went to GM and they said the car security module needed replaced but I never had that problem before using my old key. I unplugged the battery for 10 minutes and went through the programming again and drove the car with the security flashing again for about 10 minutes then the light went off. Started it today and the security light starting flashing again. Anyone have any ideas
