Hey guys, I'm just warning people that wanna maybe buy these garbage headlights; I know for the 2004-2008 Grand Prix's that these projectors are complete crap as well for the newer body style Impala's and also the Cobalts, these are garbage!
I bought some for my 2000 Sierra, which worked, but Spyder really let me and my buddies down with our cars. Here's some pictures to show what we had to deal with.

Halogen and HID's. The HID's made it worse. We were thinking the bulbs were too close to the projector so we made shims out of plastic washers, made it about 2% better but yeah... Spyder is a fail, complete waste of money.

I almost did that, Im glad I didnt.. I asked first and everyone jumped into the thread like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!".

Depending on how long ago it was, I'd try to get your money back for having dangerously low output or customer satisfaction or something... Im in the process of getting a set of lights done from Classy Pontiac, I just payed him yesterday so Im excited for them to get done now. Everyone says they're awesome, though, and the pictures are sweet looking.

Personally I think projector headlights throw off the whole look of the car

I second this^ I got a set of Morimoto H1 retro's from Classy a couple months ago, and they still make me smile every time I turn them on. They look great, and the output is insane. I've got it wired (thanks to Classy having the wiring set up for me before I even got them) so the low's are the projectors, and the high beams turn on the halogen high's along with flipping the cutoff shield up on the HID's, essentially giving me quad high beams. 6000K HID's plus the 4000K'ish color of Phillips HIR2 bulbs gives a color that's very close to daylight. It's 100% impossible to out drive my headlights now.

Yeah, I'll be retrofitting my Comp G, I've lived and learnt from this lol. I was clipping down the highway and to top this off one of my Spyder lights flew off my car and skidded along the highway. The little clip thing in the back that holds these lights in broke from their cheap ass plastic.

Yeah, I've seen on the Facebook groups and this forum about Spyder and I'll be the first to say they aren't good.

I'll show you pictures of my spyders tonight after work, they're all scraped up and stuff from skidding down the highway. I've tried talking to Spyder to get covers for these and they don't make individual parts so these are garbage now.

I've talked to retrofit and they emailed me back with a "what to do" I don't have the email but whoever has the knowledge should post that up on this thread so if someone who's having the same problem can actually fix their visibility.

I received my retrofits from Classy Pontiac prob about a month ago. Absolutely love them. Output is great and nobody flashing lights. The aim is great. I second Classy's work

From what I understand the ones for the 97-03 cars are far better than the 04+ ones.

Well the 04's only have these two little plastic square like things that lock in between a metal plate. They're no good, but Spyder makes garbage products so mine flew off my car. Tomorrow morning I'll snap a picture of my headlight that flew off. It ripped my HID bulb wire apart and *****ed my ballast too.. So eff Spyder, no more. I paid $300+ for the headlights and I can't even retrofit them now cause they're all scratched to rat sh!t
