So the other day I noticed that at night if I used the turn signal to turn right my high beams came on. If i moved the switch a bit back it went back to low beams, but then if I pushed it up to turn right again the high beams came on again. I noticed if i do it real slow and gentally it doesnt activate the high beams. And as far as ive noticed it only happens when i use the switch to turn to the right, not to the left. What gives??????

sounds like its time for a new multi switch there. the stick and the guts behind the plastic in the column.

Damn... Is it possible to swap it out yourself or do you got to take it in and get it done?

you can do it yourself. you need a small torx bit to get the plastic off the column, then take the plastic and the steel part under the column off, follow the multi switch harness under the dash, theres a small bolt in the middle of the plug, then take the plug out, and put the new harness in place.

this is a ignition harness swap how too. but the plug you need to change is part of this plug, and you need to take all the same stuff off to get the switch out.

the 04+ should be very similar.

taking the steering wheel off will help you to see whats holding it all together. you dont have to take it off, but i found it helped when i did mine.

Well i dont want to take off more then i have to for fear of messing something up, plus my steering wheel has all the radio controls so i bet there are a bunch more wires..

Just a question and would like your guys suggetion, should i just swap it out with the one i have or should i swap it for one with the fog light control as well. cuz my car just has the signal light in the bottom but i would like to get some lights that are half signal and half fog. Or would that be to big of a hassle?

I wouldn't mess with it ... put in a pair of LED switchbacks assuming your DRL's are the voltage varying low beams .. throw on a pair of LED switchbacks w/ resistors and call it a day. wont emit all that much light but they will be pretty bright
