The center dash speaker is a 3.5 inch, the tweeters in the doors are 1.5 inch.

Metra online is a great place to start getting your installation goodies together, however, I did not have much luck with the speaker connectors they listed for my 2005. I ended up crimping spade terminals on the existing speaker wiring so I could use aftermarket speakers.

If you have a Monsoon system, you'll note that at the rear deck, the speakers have two separate connectors at each speaker. Each speaker unit has two speakers, a "sub" and a mid range. The "subs" are a single output from the amplifier, the mid range, a left and a right channel. I was not happy with the results of hooking both the sub and the mid range outputs to my Pioneer three ways and settled on the mid range output only.

Next month, I'll likely install a PPI 900.4 amp to replace my Monsoon amp, which will require running a couple of RCA cables from the head unit to the amp. I'll use the factory speaker wiring.
