Just wondering how hard it would be to make the 4" cutout in the rear deck big enough to fit 5.25s or 6.5s.....I plan on replacing all speakers and running a 2 channel for the fronts and a four channel to the rears. The problem is I want to pump like 150 rms to the 6x9s but my 4s are rated at 50 rms....open to suggestions, thanks.

Shouldn't be anything but a little metal. A dremel should make easy work of it. Make sure you measure twice and cut once.

That rear deck is pretty flimsy.

    50 W/driver will rattle it.

If I were you, I'd make sure you're set on a certain speaker size, cut the correct sized hole, and to combat what Matt just mentioned (it's a very good point because even inaudible rattles cut down on volume and sound quality), make a ring out of 3/4" MDF. You'll mount that ring around the hole you made in the sheet metal, and then mount the speaker to that ring.

The idea is to isolate the speaker from the metal. It works even better with door speakers.
