Replacing the fuse would only work if the fuse was bad causing the connector to not have power. The fuse was tested with a meter to ensure it was good. I also tested for power at the connector. I even went as far as testing for power at the scanner itself to make sure it was being supplied 12v from the obd 2 connector, and the same for the ground side of things.
Now that I think of it, I tested the data wire and got 3ish volts from that pin. Can someone test it on their car and see what voltage they get?
