Yea did you have the alt tested as well? if your alt is bad it can't charge the battery so you may be having issues again.

lol there is an easy way to test the alt at home if you have a multimeter. touch 1 probe under the red boot on alt then touch the other probe anywere on the body as long as its metal. then read the volts on DC 20
im a cookie again yay me

You always want to test it at the battery. Just because there's voltage right at the output of the alternator, doesn't mean that it's making it to the battery. There can be corrosion, damaged wires, or most likely a blown fusable link. Multimeters are cheap if you just want one to occasionally test voltage or something, they can be as low as $5 and can be accurate enough to get you what you want.

I have a multimeter at work and I'm gonna test it today to see if the alternator is having issues. I k ow alternators are easy to replace but the prices seems to be all over... Some are as low as $85.00 up to $225.00? What is a normal price for an alternator... Just for future sake.
    And yes, everyone gets cookies
    Thanks again

search google for local alternator and starter re builders. they are the cheapest way to go 90% of the time. they are local, and you get a warranty with it, just like a parts store.

i paid 80 for the one i just got at my local guy.

Being in Canada... we aren't likely to be much help in pricing.. We are used to USD prices..not inflated CAD prices.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
