    do you guys think this amp will store enough power so i dont need a cap ?

    ive got a p3 15 2 ohm sub. and my friedn gave me this amp and told me it was blown so i replaced the fuses and cleaned it up and got it working again.

    1997 GTP . repainted in jet black with blue pearl. rebuilt motor
    with vs cam ported heads and blower.

    I like the foot print and price on these...same design as hertz and a few others. I can't say the quality is the same...but it's from Robert Zeff.

    I agree with most everybody else in here. Caps are useless, a small kinetik car audio battery would do more than 40 capacitors. I had a 94 Mitsubishi with a 60amp alternator with 2 kx400.1's strapped and a 240w 2 ch. on the rear 6x9's. Big 3, big wire etc. and I would get so much voltage drop on a hard hit it would shut off the HU....put a second battery in the back corner of the hatch and it would hold atleast 12.2v through any hit even with the 60amp alt. Go see how many caps you see at a car audio comp.
