    okay so i have been chasing this damn security light and i cant seem to figure it out...when i start the car it just flashes and eventually stops...but it happens everytime i start the car...

    any ideas and/or suggestions would be much appreciated

    2002 Grand Prix GTP: 3.5 MPS, SD headers, 180* t-stat, HAI, AL104's,
    Reptile Tune (SOLD)
    2004 GTO: Stock, slow and purple.

    And thats a problem?

    The light is suppose to flash when you start the car. Mine does it everytime, its only if the light continues to flash all the time even while driving or if it flashing and then shuts the car off.

    it originally started as a solid light..then got to a point where the car would start..then die, im half tempted to just take the bulb out because its driving me bonkers

    If you have someone with a good scanner pull the codes, likely you'll find a theft deterrent code. Typically it means the ignition is going bad.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
