    ok my question is if i buy a steering wheel that has the controls on it is it aready wired to the radio or am i going to have to find a harness that goes to radio

    not sure if your radio will support the controls, but you will also need a new clock spring,(also works the airbag) as its how the wires get up the column and the wheel. then theres a short harness from the clock spring to the switches. and the steering wheel. then there's another wire that clips to the clock spring wires mounted at the lower dash, foot area, that goes off to the radio harness plug.

    ok thats what i was afraid of i was hoping the clock spring was the same for the different models and that they had it prewired but if thats the case ill just leave it alone i like my car but its my work car and i really dont wanna put all that work into it when i only drive it 38miles a day

    sadly they sell 2 types of clock springs, one w/radio controls, and w/o controls.
