The steering wheel radio controls on the left side of the steering wheel (the one that changes stations) quit working. The one's on the right still work fine. Any ideas?

chances are the buttons went bad. you need to try to find another switch for the wheel.

not sure if your light up or not, but if lights up but still dont work the switch is bad as well.

you could pop it out and try cleaning the switches under the finger cap thingy there with electrical parts cleaner.

Does the whole switch pop off or just the cover?

i dont own a 96 but in the 97 and up the switch will pop out of the wheel, its on a rather short wire so dont pull to hard once its free of the steering wheel.

you may want to google that one if someone with a older model dont chime in. see if you can find them for sale, then you will see what it looks like out of the car maybe.
