Plan on getting 6x9 and 5.25 door speakers was looking at these for 6x9s

    Amazon.com: polk audio 6x9

    and these for door speakers

Amazon.com: Polk Audio DB521 5.25-Inch Coaxial Speakers (Pair, Silver): Car Electronics

Never used Polk audio just trying to get some input and what small amp would you run wiith those not trying to spend a whole lot

I've had those 6X9's. They are damn good. But personally, I like these better.. The bass is less muddy when cranked and they sparkle.
    Pioneer TS-A6994R (TSA6994R) 6" x 9" 600W 3-Way Car Speakers

As for door speakers. Polk makes good ones. The 6.5's I had in my door lasted for 10 months before I took them out, and they were amped and thrashed daily. Still work, just decided to upgrade to components instead.

I'm not sure if 6.5 inch speakers will fit in a Grand Prix. Unfortunately I know Bonneville's better. But anyways, this amp is what is powering my set up. I installed it myself in May. Hasn't given me any problems. Solid little thing.
    Hitron HPA400.4 (hpa4004) 400W Max, Pro Series 4-Channel

However, if you want to keep your stock head unit you would need a Line Output converter to give the amp signal. That's how I have mine set up as well.

ok yeah the door speakers are 5 1/4 and that amp is cheap thinking ill be going that route and currently I'm running this head unit

Sony MEX-BT4100P CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

Last question thinking about running these

    Amazon.com: Kicker DS693 6"x9" 3-Way Speakers (Pair): Car Electronics

    and

Amazon.com: Kicker 11ds525 5.25 Coaxil Speakers Pair Rohs: Electronics

or should i run the pioneers you recommend and

    Amazon.com: Pioneer TS-A1374R A-Series 5 1/4" 3-Way 300 Watts: Electronics

The Kickers don't have as good power handling as the Pioneers. I would still go with the Pioneers. As for door speakers, take these into consideration as well.
    Pioneer TS-A1304C (TSA1304C) 5.25" 2-Way Component Speaker System
Being components they will sound better than the 3-ways. That's what I would do.
I'm kinda a Pioneer/Polk Audio junky. I'll let others chime in about Kickers. I don't have much experience with the brand.

Combined with your head unit, the amp will be more than enough power for the door and deck speakers. I don't know if you're crazy about bass, but with that amp and those 6X9's I don't think you'll be wanting a sub too much. At least for a while.. Haha.

Hmm. I don't know much about subs. But I would try and find a good cheap 5 channel amp. My friend got a used Kenwood 5 channel for like $75. Works like a charm. That's what I wish I could have done, cause now I'm trying to get a sub into my setup for cheap. Browse around on Crutchfield and Sonicelectronix. Check out Diymobileaudio.com. Great car audio forums.

    I have these now.
Pioneer TS-T15 (tst15) 3/4" Soft Dome Tweeters - Sonic Electronix

    I used to have these.
    Polk Audio db1001 db Series 1" Diameter / 25mm Silk/Polymer

The Polks sounded great when you were playing them not too loud but when cranked they were too shrill for me. The pioneers are like my stock tweeters but a little clearer.

And they fit under the stock plastic housing fine? The tweeters I mean

Both the tweeters needed dremeling to fit. Not a big deal though.

wus the biggest size you can put in ya door speakers without any modifications? I swore 6.5" fitted perfically. I have a 00" Regal GS, so maybe the size is diff from a GTP. I thought they were the same actually...
Not your average grocery getter, but theres always at least two things on the list.... 10w-30 Castrol Titanium and Shell 91 premium mixed with a lil 100 octane racing gas......
