was the amp going into protect? only way to tell is volt meter, or stick a 9 volt to the terminals and "pop" it. Box should fit just fine dont worry. just measure it before it goes in

I dont think it was going into protection mode. Maybe one of the voice coils did blow but I looked at the specs of my amp i have now and it makes sense . yeah im gonna test it out before i buy it, prob going to Audio Tech again off 159. I've never had issues with his boxes. I have a feeling it'll be $70
