Stock stereo is wasting money... Unless you like paying more for less... You just don't get the amplification, clarity, or extras with stock radios that you will with after market items, period! You can maintain steering wheel controls by using an after market unit that you wire with the new head unit. PAC and Axxess are two that I know. I just replaced my entire stereo system, front and rear speakers, new head unit and an Axxess unit and couldn't be happier. I have unreal sound, Bluetooth, iPod, Pandora, USB and a aux hook up (3.5mm). Any new cars I've bought as well I've left the audio out and opted to install my own, dollar for dollar the best result if you are an audiophile. Lol
