    Rperry435,

First off I have no axe to grind with you if you can believe that and I don’t come to a forum to make enemies or piss people off. When you first posted that diagram I did state “I can’t see how that would work” not that does not work at all, rather meaning I don’t understand it (at the time). Why, because it wasn’t until after I looked at it a 2nd time I realized the green wire on the 556u (which is not labeled) was an input not an output –duh my bad there. Which is why I asked you to explain it, then the fog lifted and I remembered it’s exact function. Okay from there I suggest if the OP’s bypass doesn’t have a sense input (which is now known he doesn’t) to get one, and then your next comment is I’m a moron? Fact is it appears as we are having a go at each other which is why I suggested the PM route earlier. Another fact is we both know our stuff so can we drop whatever issue we are having and focus on helping the OP? It takes two to argue and if I have pissed you off in any way then I apologize, so let’s put this to rest.

    For the OP,

Now that I think about it you can simply add a relay to your existing bypass to give the same function as the key dropping out on the diagram rperry435 posted. However you just wire it a little different that’s all. I also do understand you may not have the knowledge to translate it over so this is what you would need to do.

Use a typical SPDT relay for this and wire as such (the pin #’s are very small & right next to the pins in case you didn’t know)

First you will cut the +12v input wire to your bypass*

Pin 87a-- Wire to bypass side of the cut +12v wire*
Pin 30--- Wire to the +12v feed side of the cut wire*

Pin 85 --- keysense wire (-) (light green wire in column harness)
    Pin 86--- Fused ignition source

That should cure your light problem and I do believe rperry435 would concur as well.
