    Hi everyone
    The display on my stock headunit freezes and goes screwy fairly regularlly. Is there anything I can do to fix it myself? I will probabaly put my aftermarket Clarion deck in eventually with hopes to find a harness to make the steering wheel controls work since I have grown to love them! But it would be nice to have the stock display working properlly.

    Looks like the glyphs from Predator? Common problem. You can open up the radio a try re-crimping the LCD frame to the glass to make a better connection through the elastomeric conductive strip.
    The GPs are long gone...

    Thanks, I will have to open it up and have a look. I was looking at your link for replaceing the bulb in the hu as well. Great write up by the way!

    JUST USE YOUR HUD! thats what i do. my headunit display ahs gone out. no more light haha
