Hi There... I'm very new to this but I'd like to replace my audio system in my 2004 Grand Prix.

I want a new deck, speakers, subs, etc...

My speakers are blown and sound like ****. I want it to be a very LOUD system. (A lot louder than the original/standard system.)

So, my question is, is what do I need. And how much is it going to cost. I have someone to do it for me, who does it for a living, but I'd like to buy the things for him. Any advice and help on this would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in Advance!

    go to pac-audio.com or metraonline.com

input all your info, it tells you what you need to buy,

then read a few threads around here and will tell you HOW to install etc.

    Thanks for coming out!

Go Alpine all the way, a little more than some stuff out there, but dollar for dollar i feel is the best out there. Go to onlinecarstereo.com and do a fit guide and it will tell you everything you need and they have the best prices on the internet i guarantee it.

brand is personal preference. i have kickers for speakers and they are naturally deeper i like them. but i would highly recommend ordering the stuff from crutchfield.com...their prices are tough to beat and they will send you the stuff you need for the install sometimes for free (it would be included in the price of the product). although subs you might need to buy the boxes separately but i would still get that from them too.

You can shop around I bought Polk Audio db separates and 6x9's for my 06 and am running 100 watts rms to each and they scream (old school Orion xtreme 800.4) I have had most major brands and have found the polk sound the best for the price range.122.00 for separates 89.99 for the 6x9's on ebay. got two old school Crunch 10's(22 years old) run by an Orion xtreme 800. old Orion amps are the some of the best and are under rated. just my .02
