Ok, yes I know, narrow band A/F gauges are basically useless. But, it fills a hole in the gauge pod until I get my oil pressure gauge and it was available.

My question is that it seems to be all over the place. It jumps from lean to rich and back constantly. I am assuming that as useless as they are, it should at least not do that. If I press down on the gas more than about halfway, it settles down until I let up. Could an exhaust leak be letting extra air into the system and messing the o2 sensor up?

I used the pigtail to hook it up to the sensor, should be a good connection.

    Thanks

Its a light show and nothing else. Its acting exactly like it should considering its reading the factory o2.

Ok, I can accept that. Just making sure.

Hopefully it won't be there for long, but the wife wants me to fix the gas gauge before the oil pressure.

    Thanks again.

I was thinking of unhooking it from the o2 sensor and connect it to the radio instead. Make a good one signal analyzer. Probably be more useful.
