so this is the situation. i bought my car awhile ago and have been fighting with reliability. now that its set i want to get some new hid's i bought the car with some projectors but the kid who did it obviously had no idea what he was doing. blinkers were wired incorrectly, the headlights themselves were not aligned properly so i just want to start from scratch.

im looking for the most bang for my buck. would i be best off picking up a set of stock housings and throwing in the hid's? im not looking for anything to be crazy but something that functions well. any suggestions?

Best bang for your buck will be retrofitting. It's got great output and looks good but you would have to make them. Hid in stock housing are great as well. Great visibility. Amazing improvement over stock halogens. So in short, If you the best? Retrofit. If not, get some hids
