So i just got the car couple months ago decided i wanted a new HU. So i installed a pioneer one today and everything was looking promising till i started the car and my DIC was blank. The 3 buttons on the side and TC light up fine. Anyone know what happened? Thanks !

You blew a fuse. Check fuse box under hood. Mine did that when I blew a fuse.

Well I checked the fuses and they seem to be fine. Checked the fuses under the hood too. while I was driving this morning the sunlight hit it and it was still reading the mpg & the other stuff. any other suggestions? Sry im pretty new at this.

Is it just DIM and still functioning or completely dead?

Sounds like he burnt out the backlights. Shock when taking the dash apart or something may have finished off the bulbs

another quick question anyone know if theres an adapter for the stock amp? i got premium set up in my car.

yup you were right cole train ...burnt the bulbs ..replaced them and its all good!! thanks for the input guys!
