I do not have audio after installing jvc kdx50bt on my 2003 Pontiac grand prix gtp with Bose and onstar. Everything is wired correctly to the wire harness that I bought so I am stumped. Please help if you can! Thank you!

I bought this harness for my 02 go without Bose or onstar. When I bought my 03 gtp I had installed a jvc stereo with the same harness with no problem I remember I had to tap in the harness for the Bose amp but I'm not sure which wire thought to use from the after market harness

The factory amp turn on is not connected. You should have a second factory harness. Its a harness with 4 wires on it. The pink wire will be your factory amp turn on, connect your amp turn on from your new HU (blue/white) to that pink wire and you should be good to go

Or just rip out all of that stock mess and go all new.... but, Keith's advice is much easier.

I just had this happen the other day too!!!
Yesterday I spliced the pink wire from the onstar/bose wiring harness to the new remote turn on wire (blue/white) worked like a charm!

Then I mounted all my panels back on the car start the car and the damn back speaker is buzzing. And as I accelerate the buzzing becomes worse.
I have a feeling it is either to do with my alternator interfering or else there is a ground wire somewhere that I did not connect?

I am running a Scosche fai3a converter from the bigger harness through to my new Head-Unit. I believe it is set to common ground option at the moment.

Anyone else have any experience with this or a similar set-up? I WANT THIS BUZZING GONE!!!

Thanks in advance for any help with this!

Same process if you're upgrading everything. HeaDunit, amp, new wires, speakers, done.
