Ok my car is an 04 GTP. I ordered these for my car ZZPerformance - HID Conversion Kit #ZZ-HID (9006) Full kit. there are no instructions with them so i plugged in the wires that look like they go and one side worked one didnt. i emailed zzp and told them how i did it and that i thought it was a bad bulb and they agreed and sent me a new bulb. Same problem. So we did it again, still same problem. they had me bring back the whole kit and got me a new one and now not even one side works. I told them that and they said it must be me hooking it up wrong or somethings wrong with my car. I really dont think its something wrong with my car.. but what would i check? and is there anything on this kit i have to do? it says plug and play but i saw some stuff with the 9007 kits and 9004 kits about being wired wrong and having to cut stuff and ground it somewhere and stuff. I just plug the red wire and black wire into the balast, then plug the 2 wire connecter to the ballast, then plug the other side of that to my headlight, and plug my headlight main harness in like normal. anything else i need to do?

Ok so zzp's complete kit is not actually a complete kit.. Does the harness change how you turn your lights on and off? Or is it still at the regular switch. an does it shut off the automatic lights? like where they automatically come on at night.

It just draws power from the battery, get one off ebay for $12. Shouldn't affect controls. Hope it helps!

Yep that's correct.. it basically bypasses your stock wiring and draws power from the battery.. it also replaces your stock relay.. none of your normal functions will be affected.. you also need to get some capacitors/ anti-flicker modules b/c of the drl's

ok first off you dont need capasitors thats what the relay harness will fix! what happens with a lot of these kits is that you can plug some of the connectors in 2 ways. there is a top and a bottom to the connector but when you plug in the 2 prong plug into the ballast switch it around! turn it upside down and try it like that. i have had this problem twice. its weird. let me know if you dont understand. but take the plug that goes from the bulb to the ballast and rotate it 180 degrees and try it again! these plugs will go in both ways. i bet this is your problem.

Yep, just flip the plug "The wrong way". That should take care of it.

you will most def need the capacitors/anti-flicker to take care of the DRL problem.. i couldnt get mine to stop flickering with out them.. even with a wire harness

I think you might want to look into replacing your ballasts then, I had a very small flickering problem. Once one of the ballasts blew I replaced them with a higher quality of ultra slim and no flickering what so ever. The relay harness fixed my problem with flickering fog lights

awesome i reversed the connector and it works great thanks guys! zzp told me i didnt know what i was doing and that i was wasting their time and that i needed to either pay them to plug it in or that i needed to take it back for a refund haha. when it was that it didnt just plug in the way they say it should that was the problem. i love zzp... but their customer service sucks. Thanks again!
