97 Grandprix and Remote Start Install

Hey guys/gals

I bought my girlfriend a Pro-Start remote start system for christmas, and have heard conflicting thoughts about whether or not I need a Bypass Module or not.

Its going on a 97 GrandPrix GT 4 door.

If the key has a chip you will for sure need a bypass.

How difficult is it to install a remote start in a 97 prix gtp 2 door?

I have one lying out in my shop but I've heard that they are like impossible to install and gives ya a good headache.

Dont know..have not done mine yet. I'm a diesel mechanic tho, so wiring is 2nd nature to me.. shouldn't be too bad.
