    ok im not an idiot but im havin probs gettin the grills off and getting stocks out i wanna put my mempis'out of my gt in and get rid of bose...whats the secret to gettin these things out.ive tried from inside car and from inside trunk.is there anything besides clips holding these in.i feel like a clown for asking because ive removed alotta speakers from alotta cars and this is killin me

    Don't feel bad, it took me awhile to figure it out too. You have to take the back seat out and take the whole rear dash out. The grills are connected to that. Then you'll have free access to the rear speakers. The grills are screwed to the rear dash panel, but can't get to the screws unles you do this.

    damnnnnn that sucks...but i guess ill get on it tommorow.my subs have blown cones out of basket on stocks.

    Yea, I remember when I did mine, I didn't have time to put everything back in before my wif ewent to work that night and I forgot all about the 3rd brake light. Let's just say, when she hit the brakes, it lite the whole car up and about blinded her in the rearview. She won't too happy, but I got a good laugh. It's not that bad to do though, should only take you about 10 or 15 minutes to get to them.
