Hello Im wondering what are a good set of HIDs that are fairly cheap. I had a set that came with my Spyder Halo Projectors and one is brighter than the other. Im looking for reliable HID bulb replacement so they are both bright. And Im thinking about 6000k HIDs for the fogs to match my headlights or should I get the 3000k? Does it help alot better in fog? Thanks

I absolutely love my DDM Tuning HID bulbs and ballast's. Got both HID fogs and headlights. Easy to install, true to color temperature and output. Amazing price, and honestly super good quality from what I can tell. I accidentally placed one of my headlight ballasts in a section of the wheel well where a ton of water could kick up in it. Figured this out and removed the ballast and unscrewed the top cover, the entire thing was filled with water, but since the electronics were covered with plastic, nothing shorted or rusted and the thing still works today. Couldn't be happier.

Do you need the HID Harness (Dual In/Out), The Error Eliminator, or the Adaptor Cables? Thanks these are cheap if you don't need any of these things lol. Did you have any errors come up or need and adaptor for the fogs? Thanks again

10000k is ridiculous and puts out less light output than 4300k.

I bought the power harness for my headlamps and didn't buy them 4 my fogs. Both seem to work just fine although I would air on the side of caution and say get them. I believe they are only $15 more and I think you should have a solid 13.5v going to your ballast's and not have to worries about burning up the wires on the standard harness. NO need for the error eliminator.PLEASE READ THIS PART!!! A lot of people on this forum hates the high/low functionality of certain HID bulbs. I bought the headlamp bulbs with the high/low functionality and am glad I did. It isn't the best output on high beam but it DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE and out in the country, I'm glad I had it. Also, on the color temperature, i have 6k for both fogs and headlamps. Solid White. Just the way I wanted it. Let me know if you have any more questions about DDM, the bulbs, or the installation!

I have a set of the Halo Projectors from spyder. They have two different bulbs for the low beam(Projector) and the hid beam(Regular). But I really need to get HIDs for the high beams because they suck. Thanks for all your help. And I will indeed ask if I have any trouble with installation. Thanks!

i already told you why that is true.

light output exponentially decreases as the kelvin value increases. its simple math.

You are wrong. Facts don't lie. 10000k has less output than 9000k which has less output than 8000k. The purest HID you can get is 4300k.

but you should get 5000k as it has a twinge of blue
4300k sucks only because of the glass. if the quality sucks the output looks yellow if it's good then you get blue-ish

I'm using 6000k in both heads and fogs, I love them. Just a hint of blue and bright as hell.

For the brightest HID's you don't want any blue. White is brighter than blue.

He knows that, he's just saying for looks go with a tiny of bit of blue.

I run 6000k in my headlights(projectors) and my fogs, I think it's perfect.

How is 4300K yellow when all you see from everyone else is 3000-3500 K?

I had 4300's and they were pretty blue to me.

But no more blue than all of the other factory HID's I've seen.
