Hey everyone, I am new to this forum and picked up an 04 GTP Comp-G. I had an HID kit from DDM in my previous car ( 2001 S/C Z24 ) and I would like to do the same with this car. I had the 55w Raptor 6000k HIDs ( 9007 ). I am looking at getting the same setup again, except with 9006 for the GP's low beams. I have done some research on here, and couldnt find anything about which specific kit from DDM and which accessories if any needed to be ordered along side it.
I just wanted to verify that this was the proper kit that people are running ( looking at other posts it seems to be ) and see if I needed the error code elim., HID Harness, Adaptors or anything like that to run them so I can order everything I need at once.
Also, in the other car, I had to disable the DRLs to get them to work properly. Will there be any issues that would cause it not to work even if I order the right kit and wire it in properly that I should know about?
Lastly, I may eventually order some yellow HIDs for the fogs, I am reading they are the 880 kit, is there anything else that would need to be ordered with this kit as well to ensure compatibility?
I have already done a double din head unit install, 4 channel and mono amp installs in the car, and I am familiar with the basic wiring. I just want to make sure I have the right parts. Thanks in advance and I am really looking forward to being involved in this community as well.
