Yes I know Im on the grand prix forum, but my forum is way to slow in answering back. Ok step by step here: hav 2 10' speakers in box. Which consumes the sunfire trunk area. Now the bass booster can ONLY be set on #2 level. Trebel on max, BUT there is that freakin trunk/fin hingie RADDLE! Im now that car that EVERYONE PULLS UP NEXT TO AN GIVES FUNNY ALMOST RUDE LIKE LOOKS CAUSE THE TRUNK RADDLES LOUDER THAN THE BASS THATS SOUNDING ****ING GREAT IN SIDE CAR.
I dont need ANY help looking stupid and that also goes for not needing my cars help. Now ya'll being little more edumcated, got any better sulotions???
You could try and sound deaden your trunk with Dynamat or some other like product.

Could maybe try spell check too. I almost can understand what you are saying. Sorry not trying to be a dick.
i blame any misspelled, words pushed together, to many spaces, ect ect on my freakin smart touch screen ONLY cell. All I ever asked for a smart phone with a triple tap button base.![]()
Why thank you for pointing that my question in the VERY FIRST THREAD POSTING, ASKING WHAT IS THE BEST WAY & OR PRODUCE I CAN USE TO STOP THE RADDLE OF MY TRUNK AND SPOILER,
MAY:
1. Be confusing,
2. May not be that important,
3. An since Im not an AUDIO TECH, there I was asking.
NOW,
You in ur last post, ONLY SHOW MY THREAD WHERE I, SMART ASS AS I AM. EXPLAINED TO WHO EVER WHAT WAS ASKED IN VERY FIRST THREAD, WELL WAS TRYN TO MAKE MY ISSUE A MORE VISUAL THING, SITUATION, PROBLEM.
SO, I would think that if you were tryn to be an ass, possible helpful, post listing proper what ever, MAYBE YOU SHOULD READ ALL THE THREADS FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, BEFORE YOU PICK AN CHOOSE WHAT YOU CAN ONLY REMEMBER WHAT YOU READ. AN TRY AN POINT OUT TO ME YOUR CONFUSION / IGNORANCE, ALWAYS REMEMBER WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD. UNLESS YOU KNOW ALL THE FACTS AND INFORMATION TO A SITUATION, MAYBE YOU SHOULD FIND THAT INFO OUT. THEN U WONT BE THE ONE SOUNDING / LOOKING STUPID DO TO YOUR ACTIONS IN THINGS.
BUT THANK YOU FOR TRYN
Proven fact that caps make reading take longer thus people are less likely to read your message.
Yeah I tend not to read things in caps. Its never important.
Caps are intimidating.
in for teh lulz.
Why is she yelling? My head hurts from when I was reading it out loud and had to start yelling! Due to the CAPS!
To be fair though, you all are mean ol a-holes...
EDIT: To be helpful- Unbolt the Spoiler buy some "Wright Stuff" sealant(or Silicone of any sort) And run a bead around your spoiler(including around the bolt holes). Let it get hard, then bolt it back together adding fresh around the holes to make sure it don't leak. should keep it from ratteling so much.

A. Try spelling things right, using proper punctuation and NOT using all caps.
1. I don't see how you can blame poor grammar on a smart phone. I have one and no
matter how bad I fat finger the touch pad, it never looks that bad.
B. Tell us what you HAVE tried to fix the issue instead of getting all crappy with everyone's reply.
C. You have to help us help you, so why don't you try being a little more "edumcated"
Wow....I believe you are asking how to stop the rattles? If so, try firing your subs toward the front of the vehicle. And dynomat your trunk lid.
Bottom line, rattles happen for two reasons...
1) Resonating Panels
2) Air Pressure...that inevitably transfers energy to resonating panels as the air finds ways to escape.
You fix #1 by adding weight to anything that resonates. That's why you were told to "deaden" your trunk. It's called mass loaded vinyl. Typically the mass is the aluminum and the binding element is butyl.
You fix #2 by trial and error...facing the speakers in different directions. We have a space in the right rear of our trunks that can open; allowing air to regulate itself. When air pressure builds up it can open as well as become noisy. Changing the direction of your speakers will change the flow of energy and the ensuing rattles. If you're facing the speakers against the trunk lid think of the sound waves bouncing off a wall the same way a ball might. Face the speakers towards the cabin and you're no longer attempting to project the sound off the trunk lid. Now there's less likelihood of it rattling. It also changes the path length for the wave to "unfold". It might lower over all SPL but it might sound better too. Everything in car audio is trial and error.
I apologize if I seem to be a jerk but you have the question and we have the answers. If anybody had provided misguided information I would have helped correct the problem. If you don't like our answers please don't put us down.
If you don't like the way I'm relaying this information try researching/reading on your own. I'll state this one more time as well, our vehicles aren't inherently similar to yours just because we have a trunk too. Therefore, the surfaces in our vehicle that resonate may not be the same ones causing noise in your own. Removing the rattles is specific to each vehicle. There isn't a one answer fits all scenario other than the information that was provided early on. Keep us updated with your attempts to help the issue and we'll provide more ideas until the problem is fixed or you've given up.
