So I've done a search but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I getting my windows tinted tomorrow so I'm trying to remove the rear speakers and the whole flat part they sit on. I'm doing this so I know they will tint under the brake light because otherwise it'd look stupid. So if someone could give me somewhat detailed instructions on how to take it off that'd be great. I already have the seats out btw.

Also how so you get the rearview mirror off? Just pull?

So it's just the two little cone shaped knobs closer to the seat area?

Ok ya that's them. There's no speaker wires or anything that have to be disconnected or anything? I kind of looks like there is from the trunk. And does the rearview mirror just pull off?

wait are you trying to remove the cover for the rear speakers or the metal deck itself?

    No idea on the mirror.

    But most slide up.

Some have retaining screws hidden under a cover.

if your mirror is standard there's a Philips screw. the rear deck carpet/ vinyl is not attached to the speakers the rear break light is plastic clipped in iirc

Thanks guys I got it all torn apart. I just wanted to take the rear brake light off and that was covered by the speakers but it's all good now. Got the seats out and the felt part that the speakers are on and the light. I'll post some pictures tomorrow of the tint I can't wait
