Thats all what mine is... just a vinyl overlay. But, you could remove the badge and paint it I spose... but it's just as easy with the vinyl.

The vinyl is good quality and cut good. So it fits just right on there and hides all the red but maintains the chrome.

    Dirty car is dirty.

Edit: Beckles.... also the 04+ the cross in the middle of the crest is embossed. So you would still have an indention.

I would recommend getting rid of those projectors and doing a retrofit. Those projectors look cool, but have horrible light output.

I have both VVME and DDM HID kits on my car, DDM is kind of slow at shipping things, but if I buy a kit again, I will go with DDM.

Dread, did you get the Morimoto HIDs when you did your retro? I got mine and they are hella nice. Definitely worth the price. All my other bulbs flicker, but the Mori is solid and stable and BRIGHT!

No, I bought H1 Bi-Xenon bulbs from DDM and have never had a problem with it.

Hmm I see. I love the Mori's. Now I need to finish my retro... hopefully next week have them in. I cracked the reflector... and tried JB weld... and kept breaking... so I gotta fix that but I think I got it figured out. Then getting the gatling 2.0 to fit was a bizz. But I finally got them to fit. Seal them up then bring them to my painter to do the black outline on them. I got my cutoff clean as hell.

Yes, HIDs are HIDS, but what makes the difference between the companies is the reliability of the ballasts/bulbs and overall customer service. I have never had a problem with DDM, and they also have a lifetime warranty. I jacked one of my ballasts up by not using a wiring harness, called DDM, and they sent me a new ballast with just the costs of shipping. USE A WIRING HARNESS.
