Anyone know where the grommets on the driver and passenger sides can be found and how to access them? I wanna run wires through them but i wanna know the best way to access them. Also would it be best to try nd push the wire through the grommet with whatever wires might already be in it or would it be better to create a new hole to the side of the grommet?

I searched the forums but didn't find much on this

theres one of the pass side is behind the rear exhaust manifold and closest to the pass side, as for the wires, i took a pipe cleaner and shoved it though and then raped the wire around the other side and pulled it though, the one on the drivers side i think is behind the brake booster

Lol just used that one today. Ended up removing the grommet, cutting part of the center out and just running the wire through it and putting it back in. This ****'s a pain in the ass.

oh yes it was huge PITA, mainly because the grommet on the fire wall and the hole in that floor insulation pad thing, arn't lined up so the wire has to make a turn in the middle, which makes no sense to me

i can get pics on sunday if you still need them

I know when I ran my wire the hardest part was getting that huge chunk of rubber out of the way as it was stuck in there pretty tight. As soon as that way out of the way I was able to get everything through no problem.

Are you talking about the grommet that the transmission select cable passes through? (I used this to bypass the vacuume line for the climate controller with 3/16" brake line)

whichever one will allow me to get a wire from the glovebox area to the engine bay, and then from the engine bay back to the steering wheel
