    Hey,
Brand new to the forums and just got a 2005 grand prix gt2 about a month ago. Dilemna is, I want to replace the factory head unit with something like a sony A/V, Navigation and Bluetooth unit but I want to make sure everything will work as normal. My car is equipped with the Monsoon Sound System(Fantastic BTW), HUD, DIC, OnStar, remote start and steering wheel controls. I have been searching the forums before posting and it seems to me that an AXXESS II OS-4 harness or a PAC OS-4 unit should do the job, but not 100% sure. Want to be 100% before spending close to a grand.

    Thanks.

This is what you will need boss: Amazon.com: Axxess GMOS-01 02-Up Onstar Harness Adapter with Chime: Electronics

You will also need to purchase a steering wheel harness if you want to still use your steering wheel buttons

err....he said he has monsoon. I don't believe that's the correct GMOS harness. He requires the GMOS-02 w/RCA's I believe? Call crutchfield.com and ask them even?

    I just installed a Pioneer AVH-3200BT into my 05 GT w/monsoon.

You need Axxess GMOS-04 and ASWC. very, very easy installation...and you can customize controls for steering wheel if wanted just like the PAC brands.

I have had no problems yet with this I recommend Metra Axxess brand, easy installs.

Any questions don't hesitate to ask!

Make sure the green-green/black-purple-purple/black are connected to the right wires.

Solid colors are usually for positive cables to the speaker.
Striped are for the negative wires to the speaker.

It's the primary reason speakers usually don't work.

If they are connected properly, make sure the wires have a good connection to each other.

Lemme know what's up and I'll continue to help.

Also, if you have a chance, upload pics of your wiring situation and lemme know which harness and steering wheel control adapter you used!

I'd like you to have a fully working Pioneer deck!
