Well, I've had a 2000 Grand Prix, then an 04 GT2, been rockin a G6 GXP of late, and I just couldn't stay away. Picking up an 04 GTP tomorrow, only issue is the HUD isn't showing any output on the windshield. Ideas to start with once I get my hands on it? Burnt out bulb? What else goes wrong with the unit?

04 and up suffer a different HUD issue. They have a broken clip or something and popping in there and fixing it is quick and easy.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

The piece of plastic holding the spring...responsible for moving your HUD up and down in the windshield, tends to break. Crack it open and attach that spring again. There's a thread somewhere

Also be careful removing the trim, very easy to break if you rush it. Once it's unsnapped if you hold it against the windshield it's easier to lift it away without the clips scratching the dash or anything.
