I have an '05 Comp G. My 2 year old son was sitting in his carseat. Not strapped in, as we weren't going anywhere. Just sitting in the car at home. I think I was detailing the interior.

Anyway, He pulled off the wire going to the rear defogger. Are the radio antennas in this too? Because ever since this happened my radio reception has gone to crap.

    Also, is this repairable?

where did he pull it off of? the top drivers side of the window has a little "plug" that plugs into a metal stud in the window. that is ur radio antenna connection. Mine was removed and tucked into the head liner and radio reception was bad. could not get am at all. When I finally went investigating I found the plug and and plug it in and my radio works nicely.

Yes that plug. But the plug is still in the cord end. So, the connection is broke. Maybe it can be soldered? I dunno. The window is tinted though.

I would say try soldering or get someone in electronics to do it for you. Might melt a tiny bit of tint but no other choice then to leave it as is or replace the glass.

Trick is somthing likt that is to have a good soldering iron to get it hot so it melts the solder quickly and gets a good grip.

Ive dont that with defroster connectors and are pretty much the same thing.

Nice to know. I don't have a good hot iron, so I won't even try. If I can get one I will try. But, yeah, don't wanna risk ruining the tint!
