If the passenger side power window switch is bad, will it prevent me from rolling the window down with the driver side master control?

The transistor in the passenger side switch is broke, but I'm wondering if the motor didn't go out as well.

I have the same problem, and yes it will prevent the window from going down at all... even with the master switch. It's 51 bucks at rockauto if it helps, part number 1S3525
